Extension to an existing 3 bedroom Californian bungalow to create a 4 bedroom family home. Open planning and spaciousness were two characteristics of Australian housing design that were introduced to the redevelopment. It was important to maintain the original street front while transforming the back of the existing house into a modern space, maintaining the focus on the Inside with the transition to the garden.
