The design principles are to work within the existing environment and create a livable space to promote the concept of a ‘healthy building’. The existing mudbrick house will be maintained and allow a new reconfiguration of the internal accommodation as demand changes. As a result, the cleanly composed family house will include an exterior livingspace to promote outdoor living. The new proposal relates to the existing sheds and the upgraded family home to allow an interface between the surrounding rural living zone.
